The G Lodge Cafe: A Century of Great Food & Good Times

Back in 1928, Bill Gordon opened a modest roadside stop along Route 23 to serve fresh apples, cider, and hearty food to travelers passing between Philadelphia and Reading. He named it the G Lodge Cafe—and though ownership has passed through dedicated hands over the last century, that signature "G" (and our commitment to the community) remains exactly the same. From our rustic, log-cabin-inspired interior to our massive stone fireplace, stepping through our doors feels like coming home. We’ve survived economic shifts and decades of change, and we even had our dining room star in Hollywood blockbusters like M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening!
